Casa Antomar - Bed & Breakfast
I know you will find “Casa Antomar and Art Gallery” to be the perfect “get-away.” Situated 45 minutes south of Tijuana at KM 74, this gracious home overlooks the Pacific of Baja Norte in the private community of Puerto Salina La Marina. A safe 24 hour guarded community with beautiful views of the beaches, mountains, city lights and marina.
Casa Antomar has 3 casitas on the lower level that are private, spacious, elegant, and very comfortable. There is a kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee machine for the guests.
Ionized water and coffee included.
Suites boast marble floors, beautiful bathrooms with walk in showers, heated towel racks, blow dryers, bath robes and slippers. King or queen beds with (optional) heated mattresses.
The stunning art works that grace the walls of Casa Antomar are by A.J. Perrotta, who is the owner and designer of Casa Antomar. Lovely courtyard gardens greet you at the entrance of the property.
You will find Casa Antomar to be an architectural beauty with vast use of woods, travertine, Italian marble, glass, bamboo and rattan. Private dinner parties can be arranged ($$) including good wine from local wineries. Owners are excellent chefs. Baja Breakfast served fresh daily. All the water is purified and softened. Massages are available by appointment.
French, English and Spanish are spoken.
Activities
Enjoy the fresh ocean air on a morning walk to the Marina or the sandy beach. You may see whales and dolphins! The friendly oceanfront La Salina Cantina is a short walk from Casa Antomar. They have billiards, good food and week-end dancing and entertainment.
Take a beautiful 30 minute drive south to the city of Ensenada. There are often cruise ships in the harbor and the downtown streets are very lively. Get some great deals on leather, turquoise, silver, jewelry and “fresh” seafood. Wine country known as the beautiful Valley de Guadalupe is located 45 minutes inland. A favorite winery is L.A. Cetto. They also produce their own olive oil. The busy town of Rosarita Beach is a 30 minute drive north of Puerto Salina. Visit Puerto Nuevo (lobster village) also a short drive north of Puerto Salina. For the best fish tacos try Splash, a great seafood restaurant on the ocean rocks. The La Fonda Hotel Restaurant and Spa and Poco Cielo Sports Bar are within minutes. Golf the ocean course at Bajamar; 10 minutes away. Casa Antomar can set up a tee time for you. Horse back riding on the beach is minutes away. There is also good surfing in the area.
